Jumbula is our registration and payments provider. When you register you will create a family Jumbula account and a profile for each child. This account and profile(s) will make it easy for you to register for other RISE programs in the future. Jumbula has great features including:

  • Managing your contact information and student information

  • See your current and previous program registrations

  • Managing your balance, payment methods, and viewing previous payments

  • Downloading your dependent care receipt for your records

On the main menu in Jumbula click the EXPRESS REGISTER button on the bottom right to begin your registration.

NON-REFUNDABLE HOLD DEPOSIT: $50 (credited to first month’s tuition)

TUITION PAYMENTS: Monthly tuition payments will be charged on the 1st of each month (Aug-May) to the primary credit/debit card on file in your RISE Jumbula account. To disable automatic charges and receive only payment reminders, please email cusd@riseed.org. If you choose to disable automatic charges a security deposit of 1/2 of one month’s tuition will be required. This security deposit is fully refundable with a 30 day written notice of cancellation and can be applied to the final month of the school year, if your account is current. The maximum security deposit required is $250 per family.

SCHOOL DAYS + BREAKS PLAN: The + BREAKS plan provides the convenience of a consistent monthly payment throughout the school year and is less expensive than adding each full-day a la carte. To activate the + BREAKS plan email cusd@riseed.org within 30 days of registering. The + BREAKS plan can be cancelled once during the school year and cannot be reactivated.

RISE IS OPEN for students who are on “Schools Days + Breaks” plan on dates listed below. RISE will be open at Live Oak Elem RISE from 6:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

About:

RISE is an experienced provider, with existing programs at 30 additional sites in 7 school districts in the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valleys. The RISE program are conveniently held on each of the three CUSD elementary campuses.

Before School Schedule:  The before-school program is open from 6:30-7:45am and includes breakfast.

After School Schedule:  The after-school program begins immediately at the end of the school day (including minimum days) until 6:15pm.  

The daily after-school program includes:

  • Nutritious snack

  • Homework assistance

  • Recreation time

  • Sports/Fitness

  • Enrichment activities such as art, science, crafts, games, and dance

  • FUN!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Can I register for only one day a week?
A:  Our programs require a minimum registration of two days per week. You can find the available options in the Monthly Tuition Rates table above.

Q: I only need the program on specific dates.  Do you have a drop-in option?
A: We do not offer a drop-in option. Monthly enrollment is required for our programs.

Q: My child is starting TK/Kindergarten next school year. When does registration begin for the next school year?
A:  Registration for the upcoming school year typically begins in May. Once the official date is set, we’ll update the REGISTRATION section above.

Q: Do I need to re-register my child every school year or does their registration automatically renew?
A: Registration is for a specific period (school year or summer program), so you’ll need to re-register your child each year. To make things easier for returning families, we offer an exclusive early registration period for current RISE families before opening enrollment to the public.

Q: Can my special-needs child attend?
A: Most children who qualify will be able to attend the program.  There will be a 72 hour trial period for new students, to make sure the program is a good fit for the student. The state is still developing guidance on how to make the program as inclusive as possible.  We will update this FAQ as more information becomes available.

RISE cannot provide a one-to-one aide for students.

Q: My work schedule changes often.  How often can I change the days of the week that I am registered for?
A: We understand that schedules can change and allow families to adjust their days once per month. However, availability is limited, and we may not always have space on your desired days. To ensure a spot, we recommend registering for all the days you might need in advance.

Q: Why is the monthly tuition the same every month, even though some months have more or fewer class days?
A: We use a flat monthly tuition model to simplify billing and make budgeting easier for families. While the number of school days may vary from month to month due to holidays or breaks, tuition is calculated based on the 180 school days in the school year, then divided into 10 equal monthly payments. This way, you know exactly what to expect each month without any surprises.

Q: Do you accept CCRC?
A: Yes. If you’re using CCRC, please email us at cusd@riseed.org with your child’s name and your CCRC representative’s contact information before registering with RISE.
