Spring enrichment clubs - Enroll now!

Drama Club at Castaic Elementary Starting March 26!

In this RISE Production students will learn to perform songs and scenes from the musical Annie!

The club will start March 26th and will meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that school is in session until May 23rd. The play will be preformed at Castaic Elementary on May 23 or 24.  

Mondays: 2:40p - 4:10p
Wednesdays: 1:00p - 3:00p *no practice 3/28/18
Fridays: 2:40p - 4:40p


Soccer Club

Soccer club will be skills-based as students learn and practice drills and skills needed to compete and improve their game

The club will start April 11th and will meet every Wednesday for six weeks until May 16th

Cost is $70 – includes a T-Shirt (payable online) 

Grades K-2: 12:55pm-1:50pm
Grades 3-6: 1:55-2:50pm 


Spanish Club

Spanish club will introduce Spanish Language to the students teaching basic words, principles, and concepts

The club will start April 11th and will meet every Wednesday for six weeks. The last day of class will be May 16th. The Spanish Class teacher is a credentialed teacher with a Bilingual certificate.

Cost is $65 (payable online)

Welcome to the CUSD after School Program at Castaic elementary school 

ABOUT the daily before and after school care programs:

The before and after-school programs are held on the Castaic Elementary School campus.

Schedule:  The after-school program begins immediately at the end of the school day (including minimum days) until 6:15pm.  The before-school program is open from 6:30-7:45am.

The daily after-school program includes:

  • Nutritious snack
  • Homework assistance
  • Recreation time
  • Sports/Fitness
  • Enrichment activities such as art, science, crafts, games, and dance
  • Additional special programs may be made available throughout the school year.  Examples may include:  Sports, foreign language, drama, and STEM.  *Materials fee may be required
  • FUN! 

    LOCATION:

    Our program is held at the Castaic Elementary School Campus with a convenient drop-off and pickup area.    

    STAFF:

    Our staff members are caring members of the community who meet the school district's requirement for Instructional Aides (including TB testing, Livescan background checks, and CPR/First Aid training).  Our student to staff ratio is an average of 15:1.  

    COST:

    Tuition is based on the annual Castaic Union School District calendar and divided equally over 10 months (August – May).  Tuition is due on the 1st day of the month and is non-refundable.

    Option A - School days: Operates every school day (180 school days)

    After School Only:
    1 days per week:  $120 per month
    2 days per week:  $216 per month
    3 days per week:  $290 per month
    4 days per week:  $336 per month
    5 days per week:  $365 per month

    Before School and After School:
    1 days per week:  $160 per month
    2 days per week:  $256 per month
    3 days per week:  $328 per month
    4 days per week:  $380 per month
    5 days per week:  $400 per month


    Option B - School days and Full Day Program on select holidays/breaks (203 days total):  Full day program is open 6:30am-6:15pm on the following dates:   Oct 2,3; 20 Nov 22; Dec 18-22, 26-29; Jan 2-5; Feb 17; April 2-6 .  *The day is included if it falls on days of the week that are normally scheduled days for your student(s).

    After School only and select Full Days
    1 days per week:  $125 per month
    2 days per week:  $285 per month
    3 days per week:  $365 per month
    4 days per week:  $400 per month
    5 days per week:  $440 per month

    Before School, After School, and select Full Days:
    1 days per week:  $175 per month
    2 days per week:  $300 per month
    3 days per week:  $365 per month
    4 days per week:  $425 per month
    5 days per week:  $465 per month


    ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: 

    Before School Only up to 5 days per week (6:30-7:45am):  $150 per month (*Before School program is contingent on a minimum of 12 students registered)
    Extra Day (Before School Only):  $20
    Extra Day (After School Only):  $30
    Extra Day (Full day on select holidays/breaks: Oct 2,3; 20 Nov 22; Dec 18-22, 26-29; Jan 2-5; Feb 17; April 2-6):  $50

    Sibling discount:  10% of the lesser tuition

    Annual $50 non-refundable registration fee is required for each student

    Security Deposit:  Due upon registration in the amount of ½ of monthly tuition.  This deposit will be credited on the final month of attendance, if all accounts are current and 30 day notice is given.  If a family has more than one child (siblings only) enrolled in program, the maximum deposit required will be $250.

    Registration is on a first-come, first-come, first-served basis.  One registration form and a $50 non-refundable registration fee is required for each student.
